Ten Years of belFEST

For the past 10 years, belFEST has been a key part of Northern Ireland’s annual music calendar, providing the prime home showcasing opportunity for homegrown musical talent.

The festival has provided a platform for a wealth of young upwardly mobile artists from Northern Ireland, including Snow Patrol, Juliet Turner, Iain Archer, Phil Kieran, The Answer and Duke Special.

belFEST provides a great opportunity for local labels, media, and professionals from the wider music industry to see and hear our best new talent. Many serious players have visited Belfast for the event, with the likes of Factory Records and Hacienda boss Tony Wilson and Creation Records founder Alan McGee among the many significant industry figures who have participated. belFEST has also attracted record labels and music publishers including BMG, Sony, V2, EMI, Independiente, Universal, Epic, RCA, Mercury, Warners and Skint to the city.
